"We want the Cavalcade of Stars to be the Super Bowl of Alcohol racing." So says Bill Bader regarding his commitment to this event, held this year May 15-17. Bill has lots creative ideas on how to make this happen, not the least of which is this offer. The Cavalcade of Stars is the kind of show that is Drag Racing legend, plus a little extra family appeal thrown in. You'll see 260mph dragsters, 250 mph Funny Cars, the high-tech Competition Eliminator cars, the wheelstanding Super Stocks and Stocks, plus the world's best bracket-style racers in Super Comp and Super Gas. And if that's not enough, how about Jet Dragsters, good old-fashioned wheelstanders, and a huge fireworks show! What a weekend!

The Parkertech team is the defending event champion in Top Alcohol Funny Car. We got by none other than Frank Manzo at the weather delayed conclusion to the event in Columbus. You can bet that "Uncle Frank" will be runnin' mean at this event. But Manzo won't be the only top car there. It's going to be an awesome field. Guys like Mick Snyder and Andy Bohl have their own ideas as to who should be the D3 champion. And Rob Atchison is a former IHRA World Champion who will present some new challenges.

In just two years, the Cavalcade of Stars has become the "must attend" race on the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Tour! Many of the driver's you'll see during the weekend will be back in June at the 3rd annual Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals. These racers are our "stars of tomorrow!"

Look at our line up for Saturday night, May 16:
. Bob Motz, world famous jet semi driver, has officially returned to racing and kicks off his 2009 comeback tour. Bob's jet-powered semi truck is a spectacle when it fires up. It's powered with an engine from an Air Force F-4 Phantom jet and heaves down the track with more than 17,000 pounds of thrust! Last October during the K&N Halloween Classic, Bob literally left a path of destruction behind him after he made his first trip down the quarter mile in over a year.

. Jill "Queen of Diamonds" Canuso vs. Elaine Larson in jet dragsters, battling to become the First Lady of Summit Motorsports Park in 2009.

. Lou "Terminator" Pereira vs. Ernie "Beast from the East" Bogue in jet dragsters, battling for the right to face off against Jill or Elaine!

. Wheelstanders Richard Hutchinson in the Chevy Rebellion and Bob Hall in the Paddy Wagon.side by side on 2 wheels!

. Top Alcohol World Champions Bill Reichert and Frank Manzo, and Division 3 Champions Marty Thacker, Bobby Martin, Mick Snyder and Dan Wilkerson (who you may remember won the Funny Car division at last year's Night Under Fire!)

. Midway Attractions and hundreds of sportsman competitors contending in Comp Eliminator, Super Stock, Stock, Super Comp, Super Gas and Super Street.
